Go Bahamian & Boutique with The Ocean Club
There are boutique hotels, and there are grand resorts—and The Ocean Club, A Four Seasons Resort in the Bahamas is a rare combination of both.

The Ocean Club, with its seemingly countless amenities and intimate setting, boasts a history of more than 60 years of storied glamor.
Located on the famed Paradise Island in Nassau, Bahamas, The Ocean Club is situated on a pristine stretch of white-sand, turquoise water beach. With only 107 rooms on 35 acres, the resort’s exclusivity and privacy is a true hallmark. Over the years, it has played host to many dazzling celebrities and under-the-radar elites and was even a featured filming location in the 2006 James Bond film Casino Royale.
“It’s very rare for a resort to have 107 keys for a 35-acre property,” says John Conway, General Manager. “We have something truly special here; we’ve been home to generations of family members who come to visit, time and time again.”
A Garden of Art
Something that makes The Ocean Club truly one-of-a-kind is its stunning, Versailles-inspired gardens and cloisters, a beautifully landscaped sanctuary with stone, bronze, and marble works of art, including a particularly renowned piece, The Reclining Venus. She lays peacefully sheltered from the elements and enjoys an appropriately peaceful visage at the entry to The Spa. Sculpted in 1829 by one of the 18th century’s most lauded Florentine artists, Lorenzo Bartollini, Venus is impeccably etched out of Italian marble. A walk through the cloisters is like a walk back through time and creates the illusion of wandering the impeccable grounds of an ancient European estate.
Home Away from Home
The Ocean Club features 90 guestrooms, 12 suites, three beachfront villas, and two bungalows with private plunge pools. With direct views of the Atlantic Ocean from private terraces or balconies, the spacious guest rooms and suites in the Crescent Wing capture the traditional island spirit, recently refreshed in 2023 in shades reflecting the beachfront location—sand, aqua, and soft coral hues. These luxury ocean view rooms also overlook a verdant lawn, dotted with white Adirondack-style chairs and hammocks—the perfect spot to enjoy the soft breeze and simply exhale.
The Hartford Wing offers guestrooms with views of either the ocean or landscaped tropical gardens, and these beautiful rooms are accessible through a charming courtyard. Surrounded by palm trees and tropical foliage, a fountain is the centerpiece of the courtyard, where you’ll find many a cozy nook in which to relax.
The list of reasons to visit The Ocean Club is a long one, even if you’ve been in years past: its exclusive oceanfront setting and legendary history; its new guestroom and suite offerings since the Crescent Wing has been renovated; and its amazing signature restaurant DUNE by Jean-Georges, just to name a few. One thing is for sure: The Ocean Club has always been and continues to be a cherished Caribbean destination in and of itself.
