A Stately Spin-Off: Gleneagles Townhouse
Gleneagles Townhouse is a stunning new addition to the Edinburgh hotel landscape. Located on St. Andrew Square, the hotel’s building was previously a bank for over 200 years. It has been gracefully restored with great respect paid to its unique architectural characteristics.
The hotel features 33 bedrooms, all individually designed with a “Gleneagles” stamp that elegantly blends the old and the new. The bedrooms have been designed to embrace the noble building’s heritage, and the end result is a deeply comfortable sanctuary for you to enjoy as the city sleeps.
This is a destination for locals, not just hotel guests; Edinburgh-dwellers gather at The Spence, a spectacular all-day dining venue, and Lamplighters, the fashionable rooftop terrace. The hotel’s private members club is the newest, most exclusive ticket in Edinburgh, and hotel guests are given access to many members-only areas.
