Smack dab in the middle of the Uco Valley, you’ll find the aptly named Casa de Uco located on 320 acres of lush and verdant land. This region is where the world’s best Malbec grapes are grown, so it was the perfect place for a wine resort that perfectly balances adventure and relaxation.

Casa de Uco’s accommodations maintain the resort’s ambience of privacy and comfort. The resort features seven guest rooms, nine suites, and three exceptional private villas, all of which enjoy panoramic views of either the vineyards, the lagoon, or the breathtaking Andes Mountains.

The private villas are secluded away from the resort inside the vineyard. Each is equipped with a private terrace and garden and offers the utmost privacy while still granting visitors access to all of the resort services and amenities.

Wine & Dine

As a wine resort, the vineyards are understandably a huge feature of a stay at Casa de Uco. The cuisine on offer is also top-notch, so foodies in general will be in for a real treat. The resort’s food and wine program shines at the center of their offerings.

The executive chefs have created a menu that honors the land and the Uco Valley, driven by seasonal ingredients grown directly in the resort’s organic vegetable garden. On top of the excellent restaurant experience, the food offering extends into the outdoors with the sector de fuego, a true Argentine barbecue experience in the vineyards, where your meal is prepared over an open flame in view of the Andes. Private dining in the vineyards can also be arranged.

This wine sanctuary was created with the help of specialists in the field of winemaking from all over the world, all of whom have a keen eye for vanguard design and put the latest in modern technologies to use. The resort aims to produce wines that express the authenticity of the region, and Casa de Uco invites guests to enjoy a genuine experience in their winery.

For those who are extra-passionate about winemaking, you can also partake in a sublime venture while you visit: acquire your very own vineyard and fulfil your dream of becoming a winemaker yourself! You don’t have to be an expert on the subject. Casa de Uco has summoned Alberto Antonini, one of the most influential wine consultants in the world, as their head winemaker and viticulturist. He will transform your grapes into exceptional international-quality bottles of wine.

Keeping Busy (or not) at Casa de Uco

Casa de Uco works perfectly if you’re looking for a relaxing vacation. You can spend your days basking by the infinity pool or indulging in treatments at their spa, which offers vine-based treatments and hydrotherapy, techniques that combine the antioxidant properties of groundwater extracted from a depth of 300 meters.

However, it also works phenomenally well if you want to be a bit more active. Perhaps balance a healthy dose of relaxation with a horseback ride through the vineyards, tennis, or bicycle or trekking excursions. You can take a romantic horse-drawn carriage ride or explore the surrounding ecological reserve and mountains. If you’re a real daredevil, try your hand at paragliding, net fishing, white water rafting, and mountain biking in the Andes.

Indoors, you can take an Argentine cooking class taught by the resort’s award-winning kitchen staff or attend an olive oil or wine tasting, the latter of which is hosted by the house sommelier, who will give you an insider’s look into some of the best wines of Mendoza.

At Casa de Uco, you can truly balance your love of fantastic food and wine, your need to unwind and relax, and your inner adventurer yearning to get out and explore this singular region.
